first friday post in a while, and because there are so many things culminating into one weekly post, i'll share a few, and maybe save some. probably not though. i'll probably get on a roll, and just share everything. why not, right?
the weeks have been busy, and they've been littered with friend visits, and special events, and late worknights, and trips and other things that don't make way for a regular schedule.
to settle myself - as i've been feeling rather out of sorts lately - i'm trying to determine some hard and fast goals for myself. checkpoints to ensure that i get what i need, and i have things to look forward to.
one, is to blog every day. even if it's only half an entry, that i have to save the rest of for the next day. so please hold me to posting more often than i have been in the past month.

is there ever a somee card that i don't love? this one rings particularly true recently.
this article on love. people often make fun of me for my liberally use of the word 'love'. i LOVE the colour of this couch. i LOVE those flowers. i LOVE the way that fax paper feels. upon reading this article on love, i am able to shake all the mockery - love can be defined as a micro-moment of connection shared with someone/something else. so i will love love LOVE all over the place. take that.
these amazing sculptural necklaces by cast and combed - in particular, this one.
a former colleague slash still current friend of mine sent me this, because he is aware of my neverending love for the roots. despite my longstanding distaste for robin thicke (rex manning anyone??), this is pure, comedic and musical gold. a kazoo and a banana shaker?? duh. awesome.
