things i'm in love with

this weekend is a tough one - it's the first thanksgiving i've spent away from my family in a long time (i'd say forever, but i'm not sure if it's been forever). thanksgiving is sort of our thing, in our family. since we're a family big into food, and thanksgiving is about love and family and food, it's our jam. so it's going to be a bit of a rough one for me.
so what is important when having a lonely, tough weekend? finding hilarious and inspiring things on the web! literally. hours worth of things. some things i'm in love with this week.

this series of photographs by photographer timothy archilbald of his autistic son's world. the things he writes, eats, plays with, and - somehow - he conveys what his son seems to be thinking as well. they are shockingly beautiful.

this amazing satirical video. if only for their hair.

oh. and this one. so many important lessons about fashion here.

as usual, the beautiful and stunning TOAST lookbook for november is out, and it's incredible. i love fall. fall always has, always is, and always will be my favourite season. canoes and sweaters and fall things in a photo shoot seems like a dream world of epic proportions to me.

in my quest to do a bit of yoga every day, i've been paying close attention to articles like this one that break down basic poses, and ensure that positioning is correct, to get the most intentional practice in. yay for being inflexible, and needing people to tell me where i should bend or not!

and, of course, some music. since i'm heading to james blake shortly, AND since this video about the collaboration between chance the rapper and james on 'life round here' was released today, seems like a good time for some james. and, he's always perfectly suited to moods like this weekend.

listen to the collab here. and, the original from james.

happy weekend everyone - hope everyone enjoys friends, family, laughter and some AMAZING food this weekend.
